CH. DAYDREAM CLOUDY PATCHES DOB:26/6/06 Eyes:Normal as were all her litter mates Full dentition "Ellie" began her show career at the 8th National Shetland Sheepdog Show under breed specialist Irene Beaden (UK). She was placed Second in a class of 30 baby bitches. The Judge's Critique reads: "3 months old blue merle. I loved her bone, her shape, her head, markings, slightly heavier marking on one side but did not detract from overall impression. Long neck, neat ears, moved with confidence, so steady on the table. She moved and showed her little heart out. One for the future I'm sure."
"Ellie" went on to win multi classes in group and in show awards including Best In Group. She made her title up with ease competing in top competition at major Sydney shows. "Ellie" is not shown much these days to make way for the youngsters. In April 2011 she makes an appearance at the SSC of NSW speciality where she wins the bitch CC and Runner Up Best In Show to her half brother Washington under breed specialist judge C. Raven (Victoria). Thanks to Veronica Royston for handling Ellie for me on the day. Judges comments: The Runner Up In Show winner is a lovely down to size bitch, well balanced and graceful on the move. A bitch who has a lot to offer both in the ring and in the whelping box. The other standout for me was the Minor Bitch Class winner (Daydream Drusilla), one I would love to have brought home. Since returning to the ring in 2011 Ellie has won many awards including Best In Group amongst top competition. Our Thanks to Karrin Lapworth for leasing Ellie's Mum to us for a litter.
